Here is MY Story:
Hi, I’m Tacey Reichman and I
would love to share little bit about myself because when choosing a home
based business you are also getting a mentor and coach. Knowing who I am and
what I am about will help you determine if we will make good partners. I
hope so. When our first son was born I knew I had to be with him, I couldn’t put him in child care. My husband and I made a decision to live primarily on one income early on. I have been home all of my married life (24 years) except for part time jobs and in home businesses over the years. Our children were our reason for this investment of time and for the significant income loss/reduction caused by my staying home. I have Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Education (elementary level) which I never used formally (only in homeschooling our crew!) It is not easy living on one income, you really do make a lot of sacrifices especially in the area of time spent with Dad. One time Steve had 2 full time jobs and even when he was able to stop doing that he always had one or two part time jobs. At one point I had a consignment shop and alteration/sewing business attached to the house we were renting. Finally we started delivering newspapers, a job the kids and I did so Dad could have a much needed break and only work his primary job! After 13 years of marriage we bought our first house, a twin with 4 bedrooms (4 kids at the time) There we were: Steve working and I homeschooling and doing newspapers. Ten years and 5 children later there we still were! God has been so gracious as to grant my husband several promotions and pay raises so we always have made ends meet We have never lacked for necessities, and have even had some “small everyday luxuries” you know, like favorite birthday meals, cutting edge computers etc. There was rarely money for trips, skiing, vacations etc. Plus, with a postage stamp yard, it wasn’t like the kids had “room to roam.” My dream of a home with at least an acre seemed impossible. Finally, in the fall of 2005 I began to research online businesses as I really felt the internet was the way to go. With several computer savvy boys (my husband being one of them) and with experience in record keeping for my shop and graphic design/publishing business I just knew online business was the way to go for us! I wanted my boys to think differently about providing for their families too. None of the nine to five grind for them if that was not what they wanted. Or at least I thought they should have a goal to take their hard earned pay and invest it in something that would make their money work for them, not the other way around! My search took me through 3 months of surfing, reading and signing up for 2 different “We will coach you while getting started “ offers, that I thankfully received full refunds for before 30 days were up! About this time candle season was upon us and I discovered that my wonderful pine scented candles for Christmas (purchased on clearance at the grocery store a couple of years before) were nearly gone. A quick trip to the mall and I discovered it is impossible to find a simple pine jar candle. After extensive searches at grocery, craft and discount stores I gave up looking locally. Everything I found (which wasn’t much) had a weak scent and there was no pine! Time to do a Google search! Guess what came up: this wonderful company I am now selling for. It was like a quick and growing conviction that this was for me. I had always thought network marketing was a scam: people pushing products you could get at Walmart with a little extra tacked on the price tag so they could get paid (what a cynical way to look at things!) However I had joined one company and tried products for a year (minimum purchases required monthly) and found some products to be worth buying. Just not enough to stay in the company. Then and there I knew I could never sell for a company unless I was 100% sold on the products. I didn’t believe any such company could exist for me as I am very picky and also a “bargain shopper” to the core. First thing to check was, were there pine candles? Yup!
When I found this company I knew it was a perfect fit. It was as if God led me here. My Story Continues click here for more...
